Five committees, and what each one is for.

The F&B Committee wants to promote and valorise the Italian wine, food and beverages ecosystem in Hong Kong and Macao, increasing the visibility of the members of the Committee within the local media and consumer community.

The Committee also organises events to engage members and non-members to educate them on the authenticity of Italian ingredients and preparations. Moreover, the Committee aims to facilitate cross-industry collaborations with the other Committees.

The scope of the Green & Circular Economy Committee is to map initiatives that may generate business opportunities, knowledge-share and educate members of the Italian Chamber of Commerce regarding the adoption of these principles in their business models.

The Committee aims at challenging the business as usual and providing initiatives to rethink and grasp business opportunities in Hong Kong. The three main pillars are: Create Value for Chamber’s Members, Export Italian Know-How and Leverage the Institutional Dialogue.

Founded in 2018 by like-minded individuals, the Italian Young Professionals (IYP) committee is a group dedicated to promote the business growth of its members through different projects and activities. Its members are all young professionals (under 35 years old) who are taking their first steps in the business world and need to build the necessary skills to have a successful path.

Through the IYP, internationally-minded young professionals have the opportunity to find a platform to develop peer support, network, share ideas and experiences, seek mentors, boost career opportunities, and overcome the challenges they face in establishing and setting up successful careers in Hong Kong and in the Asia Pacific Region.

Our mission is to enrich the lives of young professionals based in Hong Kong through unique opportunities for professional development and personal enrichment.

• Address the needs and interests of IYP members through educational and social activities.
• Provide a value-added platform for young professionals to create new networks with peers and senior business leaders within the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao.
• Encourage young professionals to actively participate in events that will empower their professional and social networks.

The Italian Quality Lifestyle Council aims at providing its members with a platform to share the most extensive knowledge possible on the day-to-day challenges they deal with in the retail industry in Hong Kong and Macao.

Thought as a group of like-minded professionals working in the retail industry and ready to join forces to shed light on the latest trends and best practices, the retail committee is now calling for expressions of interest to lead a series of activities and strive for innovation.

Supported by the Italian Chamber of Commerce, the Women’s Leadership Network Committee (WLN) is a network of women professionals based in Hong Kong. WLN Members regularly get together for networking events, business seminars on career advancement and informal gatherings.

The WLN is an instrument for Hong Kong professional women who seek to expand their professional network, learn about Hong Kong companies’ best practices, exchange personal experiences and build strong relationships. The WLN also collaborates with other Hong Kong and Macao women networks, associations and NGOs to promote a more diverse, inclusive and therefore competitive environment in the local corporate scene.
